The latest scores, updated every week on how YOUR team is doing!

This Week's Rated Magazine is: Hit Parader: We gave it **** out of 6. 2/3 Isn't bad huh? That's because this magazine totally rocks. It's a little thicker than some average magazines, such as Spin and alot of that space is taken up by full page posters of bands. Sept 2005's issue includes articles such as, Nine Inch Nails: Reznor's Revenge, The Ultimate Heavy Metal Contest, Rob Zombie: Renaissance Man, Mudvayne: Doing it their Way, System of A Down: Voices of Reason, Black Sabbath: The Legacy Continues, and Shooting Stars: Dirty Americans. With their main spotlight being System Of A Down for this issue they have 3 different topics for it. With in-depth articles and pictures on bands other magazines are too wussy to cover this makes Hit Parader this week's pick. Next week we will rate another magazine and have Hit Paraders article underneath it. Be sure to check back in for your favorite mag and see what we have to say about it.

Excerpt from Hit Parader:

Reznor's Revenge!
By: Winston Cummings

"With Teeth is with us. And make no mistake about it, the arrival of a new album from Nine Inch Nails qualifies as NIG NEWS in rock and roll circles. After all, NIN main man Trent Reznor easily ranks among the most enigmatic forces in the contemporary music world............  "My songs are so personal, they come from deep inside me," Reznor stated. " I start writing down my thoughts-usually very dark,  depressing thoughts-and those eventually become the luyrics to my songs."....Soon Reznor began wondering how he could combine his technological knowledge with his love for music. After hearing the instantly forgettable brand of synthesizer-inspired rock of teh mid-'80's he felt he had discovered the answer."
