Jim Morrison was born James Douglas Morrison on December 8, 1943. He is best known as a songwriter for the 1960's band , the
Doors but also wrote individual poetry as is heard or read in the book, (or tape) American Prayer. The suggestive and sometimes
graphic lyrics were controversial and going to concerts or interviews the Doors were sometimes asked to , lets say, edit,
the lyrics. Jim did not which led to the Doors being kicked off a tv show... There are odd rumors about Jim never really dying
at all and the fact that his wife Pam died shortly after him increases the mystery. However, I don't think he could have kept
quiet this long, still, a nice daydream. Jim died July 3, 1971 in a bathtub from apparent heart failure, while taking a rest
before going to court for threatening to reveal himself to his fans. Jim Morrison's abuse of alcohol and drugs is legend and
his grave in Paris is a popular destination for metal heads, for blocks around his grave fans have written on the walls, with
arrows pointing towards the grave, *Jim is Dead*, *The Lizard King Lies Here*, *Mojo Risen this way* and the like. (Mojo Risen
is a anagram of Jim Morrison which he intended to fake his death and come back as, leading to the theory he was not dead)
Wife and Wanna-be
Ok, Im talking about Pam and Pat. Story with Pam, big love they had fun, she died a couple a years after he did. Patricia
Keneally, (I think I may take the time to reference how you actually spell that later) married Jim in a pagan ritual, (not
official) and then when he died said she should inherit some of his stuff. Also interestingly enough runs a big fund under
the name, "Patricia Keneally Morrison." She also writes books under the name Patricia Brown now.
To Fans:
For all you Doors fans out there I hope you enjoy the page. I may be only in middle school and I havn't been around long enough
to even dream of having met Jim Morrison but I do love the music of the doors and I love Jim's poetry and looking back on
everything he did in his life I would have to say I have become a HUGE fan. The Doors the movie is one of my favorite movies
though I don't like the idea of a , *Doors of the 21'st century* Im glad I might actually see Robbie or one of them live.
*sigh*
The above picture is a background. To read some of Jim's Poetry you should go to the song lyrics page. I highly suggest buying
any of the Doors albums.
R.I.P MOJO RISEN
Heres a little info on the recently deceased Danny Sugarman. Danny was only about 11 when he saw a Doors concert and became
one of their biggest fans. The band tried to chase him off several times but Danny stayed outside the door and begged for
a chance of little jobs. Jim was the one that was nice to Danny (go figure) and gave him little jobs like cleaning around
the stage etcetera. Later, when Danny was older he assisted the band mates write the book "No one Here Gets Out Alive."
and with the making of the movie "The Doors".
